Us
House of Cheriss was started in 1979 out of our founder’s kitchen, selling old family remedies for common skin and hair ailments to her friends and family. An entrepreneur at heart, she further developed these rudimentary recipes into stable and marketable products.
Today we manufacture for and supply to India's leading spas and hotels. We use natural and nature-derived ingredients, specifically chosen for their unique properties that protect and restore your skin's natural radiance. Our products are gentle, safe and can be used by everyone, from your new born baby to your grandpa!
CONSCIOUSLY HAND-MADE
At cheriss we use a cold manufacturing process to avoid any deterioration caused by heat. We aim to preserve the rich nutrients found in the raw materials we choose. Our formulations employ delicate natural and nature derived emulsifiers and our essential oils come from tried and trusted local sources.
In today's mechanised and automated world we consciously choose to make everything by hand, which allows us to closely monitor the process.With all natural ingredients there is a degree and variance, we adapt our production process to the materials at hand as well as the climatic conditions both of which play a crucial role in creating a luxurious and safe product.
OUR FOUNDER
Mrs. Sheila Khanna took her mother’s heirloom recipes and refined them into a range of marketable skin-care products, some of which are made the same way even today. She is an entrepreneur at heart, a loving mother and to top it off, an excellent cook.

Founder
Our founder began Cheriss in 1979. She set up the current production facility and continues to take active interest at the age of 90!
ASHWATH KHANNA
Managing/Technical Partner
With a background in botany and chemistry, Ashwath refined our legacy products as well as formulated our entire range of contemporary spa products. He’s been running the show ever since he took charge over 40 years ago.
LAXMAN SINGH PATWAL
Productions Assistant
Laxman has been with Cheriss for 30 years now and is integral to the operations. Coming from the Garhwal region he had a rudimentary understanding of Ayurveda which made it easy for him to understand the intricacies of the production process.
SHANTAM KHANNA
Manager
A musician by profession, Shantam got involved in Cheriss over the pandemic and is responsible for all online
retail operations.
